Winner of the 2014 SHINE Excellence Award, Kalishia Oakly, celebrated her achievement in style with a trip to Perth to attend the CME’s Women In Resources Awards.

Kalishia was accompanied to Perth by Mandy Jolley, founder and Director of SHINE. They were treated to dinner at Lamonts on Thursday evening and then it was an early start for breakfast at the Chamber of Mineral and Energy’s Women In Resources Awards.

Kalishia joined more than 1000 guests at the Awards to hear Stuart Forrester, SHINE Chairperson and winner of the 2014 National Champion of Women in Resources Award participate in a panel discussion of the importance of women in the workforce.

Kalishia received the Excellence Award for being a true leader and having a positive, supportive attitude to her SHINE family. She achieved 100% attendence in 2014 and contributed greatly to the community displaying a caring and sharing nature.
