Emerging Women is an initiative of SHINE and is dedicated to empowering young women by providing tools, resources, connections and opportunities to develop purpose. We endeavour to create a safe and supportive network where young women can emerge as leaders, advocates, and change makers, driving social progress and shaping a more inclusive and equitable future for themselves and others.
The Emerging Women network is open to all women, creating an inclusive and intergenerational space where young women are nurtured, inspired, and empowered through connection with a broad and diverse community. By welcoming students, professionals, business leaders, and mentors alike, the network ensures that emerging women are supported by a rich tapestry of experience and wisdom. This collective approach not only strengthens individual growth but also fosters a culture of mentorship, shared learning, and long-term impact for future generations.

Student/Young Women 15+ - FREE
Women 25+/ Philanthropic Membership - $55 (incl GST) per annum
A philanthropic membership fee is a contribution that provides meaningful support for the mission. Unlike basic membership fees, philanthropic memberships are often partially or fully tax-deductible. These memberships not only help fund important programs and initiatives but also reflect your deeper commitment to the cause. Whilst our network may come with opportunities and recognition, the primary motivation is to make a lasting, positive impact.
If you would like to support us from another region, please feel free to sign up as a Philanthropic Member, and we will keep you up to date with all our events, good news stories, as well as guest speaking and mentoring opportunities! Your contribution will support scholarships, professional development and support for young women in regional WA.

‘young women who are in the process of discovering and developing their purpose, values and economic independence. The term highlights women who are starting to step into role of responsibility, and beginning to assert themselves into society:; taking on new challenges, finding their voice, and becoming a positive influence in the eyes of others’

We are excited to announce the launch of our 'Fly High Scholarships', created to support young women across the Midwest who need travel assistance to attend workshops, conferences, forums, and training opportunities in Perth.
These scholarships are designed to remove the barriers that often limit regional women from accessing professional development, by providing you with return flights to Perth. Applications are open now for events taking place in 2025 and 2026, so if you already have something on your radar, we encourage you to apply NOW!
